Licorice root simmered with anise is the old sweet cough pot. It coats. It also raises blood pressure in some people — this is a short-course tea, not a daily mug.

Ingredients

- Organic licorice root1 tsp
- Organic anise seed½ tsp
Method

Simmer 10–12 minutes. Strain.
