Ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and a little black tea.
A household chai: spices first, tea last, milk if you want it. This is energy from a small amount of black tea and a lot of kitchen spice — not a coffee replacement so much as a warmer one.

Ingredients
2 cups
- Fresh ginger · sliced4 cm
- Green cardamom pods · crushed4
- Cinnamon stick1
- Organic black tea1 tsp
- Milk · optionalto taste
Method

Simmer ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon in 400 ml water 8 minutes.

Add tea, steep 2 minutes. Strain. Milk and honey if you like.
