Burdock Root
An earthy decoction, the old ‘blood tonic’ of the kitchen.
Burdock root is a food in some kitchens (gobo) and a long-simmered tea in others. Traditional spring tonic language was ‘for the blood’ — here it is simply an earthy cup people drink when they want a skin-season reset.
