Marshmallow Slip
A cold infusion that coats, not spices.
Marshmallow root is the original mucilage plant. A cold soak makes a slippery liquor people traditionally sip for a scratchy throat or a raw, acidic feeling. Heat makes it gluey; cold is kinder.

Why this cup
- A coating sip for heartburn hours
- Also used for a dry, scratchy throat
- Almost no flavour — easy to drink
Go gently
- Take other medicines an hour apart — mucilage can slow absorption.
- Generally food-like; still skip if you have a diagnosed swallowing problem.
- Kitchen comfort, not a treatment for ulcers or infection.
